Carnaby Street

My husband and I ventured into London this past weekend, and decided to explore Carnaby Street.  I remembered it from my days studying in London, and was excited to go back.  As a traveler, most folks know of Oxford street for shopping.  That can be cool, if you're into mass crowds, busy streets, stinky buses, cars, chaos, etc.  And then there is the gem of Carnaby.  Located off Oxford Street, it's intimate, fully pedestrian, and holds an essence of old London.  Cobble stone streets, hip pubs, restaurants, fashion, and a calm away from the bustle of the main drag.  Right up my alley.

We had such a nice night.  Did a little shopping (mostly looking) and had drinks and dinner at a restaurant called Whyte & Brown right in the heart of Carnaby.  The entire menu is dedicated to all things chicken and eggs.  I loved the interior, and the food was fantastic.  *The last photo is from Blacksheep (the designer for Whyte & Brown), check out the other photos to see how great the interior is!
