Happy Holiday

We have a bank holiday here in England this Monday, and I know it's also Memorial Day in the US...so happy holiday weekend to you all!  I found this old photo of the quayside of where we live in England.  I love old photos.  I walk along this quay almost every day!

Here are a few things I'm loving these days:

  1. I just got one of these!! And whoa...so fun!!!  Our favorites are the spiralized zucchini, cucumber and celery root!
  2. These yoga pants
  3. Did you see this bus concept!?  Wow.
  4. Our dream kitchen!
  5. An amazing desert for you chocolate lovers.

I'm taking a long walk every one of these cloudy days.  It's still quite warm and green here.  Can you spot the hidden Christmas Tree?

Listen to this, and maybe have a little dance party.  One of my favorite bands.

Hallows' Eve

We had an amazing weekend.  Explored a few nearby villages, found the cutest little wool shop, and walked the countryside.  The thick fog made for a perfectly eerie Hallows' Eve.

Happy Autumn!  I have to say, I am really enjoying the weather here in England.  It's cool, and sunny with bits of rain, and everything smells so fragrant.  Even in Michigan, this was my favorite time of year, and so far it's been beautiful here as well.  The process of setting up life here continues (with both happiness and struggle, LOL), so here are a few shots of the past week.

  1. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this view from our living room.
  2. What's for dinner?  Veggie Frittata!
  3. Full moon.
  4. I don't think there is ever a time I'm not knitting or crocheting something.
  5. I'm getting a ton of wear out of these wellies!  It's muddy everywhere, and I feel like a little kid when I have these on, because you can stomp through puddles and mud all you want!  Yes!
  6. Worn: Converse Hi-Tops, Levis 501 Jeans, Madewell Necklace, Alex & Ani Feather Bangle, Madewell Top, Bench Jacket
  7. Sunset.
